HYPOTHESIZE STORY GENTLEMAN OF RIO EN MEDIO

9. Hypothesize This story is told from the point of view of the narrator who is the character in the story. How might this story differ if Don Anselmo were the narrator?

Everybody had a unique perspective on everything, not just humans, but if we personified an animal, a bug, furniture, I think they are also going to have their own point of view of thing. Depends on the character who told the story, I indicated we would have been converted into diverse point of view.
In the story Gentleman of Rio en Medio, the lawyer who supervised a negotiation of land to Don Anselmo was the main narrator. His job is to narrate the story, what had happen between his friends and Don Anselmo, and he had done a wonderful job. His narrate was awesome and detail about the story plot and his special perspective, however, he rarely mentioned about Don Anselmo’s emotions nor his weirdness of refusing the extra money from the extra land.
Imagine if it happened that Don Anselmo was the narrator, I assumed the story is going to be way different. We won't have to make prediction of what Don was up to for refusing the extra money, since it was Don’s point of view in which he might prefer to tell us the reason. We will clearly understand of how Don Anselmo felt when selling the house, or hearing the costumer complained about his descendants. He could also have explained the reason of him planting the tree for each person in the village of Rio en Medio. One of the most interesting parts, to me is that we might WOULDN’T have know his name was Don Anselmo, just like the lawyer that we didn’t have chances to find out his real name.
